Letter: Changes to local traffic patterns only lead to frustration for drivers

Martin County needs another ballot initiative. Ban any additional traffic lights, no more speed limit reductions and no more speed bumps. They back up traffic, frustrate drivers, create bottlenecks and appear to do little or nothing for safety. Shouldn’t the goal of good traffic planning be to keep traffic moving smoothly? Letter: Republicans stuck with candidate for governor

Letter: Unreliable electric source frustrating to local business

In response to the two letters printed regarding utility workers, I manage a small manufacturing company that relies on city of Vero Beach power to run our plant. I remember the day the power went out. It had stormed earlier in the afternoon and the storm was about over when, all of a sudden without warning, the power went out. [read more]
